unedited: is a multimedia content development company, headed by award winning producer, Bernard P Achampong. Our team includes Co-Owner/ Projects Manager & Producer Andrew Spence and Co-Owner & Senior Producer Cassandra Denton. Together we develop and produce digital audio formats and content.
WHAT WE DO:
unedited: works with well-known brands and personalities, as well as up and coming Independent cutting edge presenters and producers of podcasts and audio documentaries. Our focus is finding and delivering the perfect medium to express your passions to your target audience and demographic, as well as new untapped audiences; without being constrained by budgets.
We make podcasts and audio documentaries for beginners and experts alike, whether you need us for the whole production process, or just to edit the final draft audio, we can do that for you! We offer varied packages tailored to suit the individual’s need and budget.
We train people how to produce and present podcasts and radio programmes for themselves. This includes training for presenting, producing and editing. We provide these in the form workshops and training courses for many corporate companies in the UK. The list of companies is steadily growing and include the Internet Watch Foundation, Radio Plus Coventry and the BBC.
We also develop ideas for podcast and audio documentaries, for a stand alone episode or series. Our experienced team provide top line ideas, worked up proposals, pilot episodes, audio mock-ups, Industry insights and content plans.

BERNARD P ACHAMPONG – Founder, Co-Owner & Producer
Bernard is a six-time Sony Radio Academy award-winning producer, with fifteen years of experience working for BBC Radio 1, BBC 1Xtra, Radio 2 and Radio 4. Bernard’s areas of expertise in production cover Music, News, Religion & Ethics and Marketing.
Bernard worked on BBC Radio 4’s Today programme and produced some of its most memorable moments. He also drafted BBC Africa’s digital strategy for 2020, working with BBC News, in their Mobile and Online team, improving their content for social media and on the bbc.co.uk website.
Bernard still produces access and insight led documentaries, including HRH The Prince of Wales: Building Bridges, which was an intimate conversation with Prince Charles framed by candid illustrations of the plight of Syrian Christians. The documentary was recognised as Best Long Form finalist at the Jerusalem Award 2015. His most recent commission is a 10-part expose on the Dark Web commissioned by ITN, for Audible UK.
Bernard’s gift is leveraging relationships to produce and promote content, and collaborating for a bigger impact. He launched the digital development company, Unedited: in 2011. Bernard co-owns Unedited: and also works as a producer.
ANDREW SPENCE – Co-Owner/ Projects Manager & Producer
Andrew has been on local and national radio for 13 years as a presenter under the pseudonym of 3Style. He started on Galaxy FM in 2000 presenting and producing his own play-listed mid-morning and afternoon shows, as well as producing and presenting two specialist RnB and Hip-Hop radio shows, which were broadcast nationally across the UK on the Galaxy Network.
Andrew was renowned as a tastemaker for RnB and Hip-Hop music from the UK and the US, breaking artists to UK audiences, such as Wretch 32, Kanye West, Tinie Tempah, Alicia Keys, Skepta, Wiley and Plan B.
Andrew won the highly acclaimed & industry respected Silver Sony Radio Academy award in the Specialist Music category in 2004. Andrew also made the transition to present a specialist RnB show on Capital FM, while making the move to being the 1st ‘Brummie’ presenter on Choice FM London until 2013.
Over Andrew’s long and continuing career in radio as a presenter, he has interviewed artists such as; Usher, Ne-Yo, Alicia Keys, Black Eyed Peas, Mary J Blige, Kanye West, Ciara, Chris Brown, Akon, Rihanna, Jamie Foxx, John Legend, Ludacris, Ice Cube, Plan B, Amy Winehouse & Drake.
Andrew went under the pseudonym of 3Style when presenting on the radio, and also DJing across the UK for the likes of Beyonce, Black Eyed Peas, Drake, Sean Paul, Nicki Minaj & Nas. Internationally he did a 5-year summer residential stint at Pacha in Ibiza alongside Roger Sanchez. Andrew also worked as voice-over artist on adverts for Television and Radio national campaigns on ITV, CHANNEL 5, THE MTV NETWORKS, KISS FM & THE GALAXY NETWORK.
Since leaving the Global Radio group in 2013, Andrew has been working with high-end radio/podcast brand Monocle 24 as a part of the production team, as a Studio Manager and Producer. He has also been involved with Breakthrough Media as a Producer for their Ummahsonic podcast project. Andrew also works as a Producer on talkRADIO & talkSPORT, producing shows for Matthew Wright, Penny Smith, Danny Kelly, Natalie Sawyer & Jamie East. Andrew is now part of Unedited: working as a Projects Manager & Producer.
CASSANDRA DENTON – Co-Owner & Senior Producer
Cassandra has 8 years of experience working in radio at both a community and commercial level. She has particular expertise in speech led content, with a passion for storytelling and getting to the heart of the issues that affect communities. Cassandra had produced content for THE BEAT LONDON, WESTSIDE RADIO and COLOURFUL RADIO.
In addition to her studio-based work, Cassandra has produced content at outside broadcasts such as Notting Hill Carnival in 2013 and 2014, for the biggest sound system at the carnival, Rampage Sound. Cassandra has worked on, and produced a number heritage projects, these include a series’ programmes dedicated to themes such as Black History Month in association with Brent Libraries and London Brent Council. As one of the lead producers of the Sound Women podcast, Cassandra worked with presenters such as Liz Kershaw (BBC 6 Music) Angie Greaves (Magic FM) and Stephanie Hirst (BBC Radio Manchester). Cassandra is currently producing podcasts for BBC Sounds, these titles include The Receipts Podcast and Cut The Chat, as well as an Assistant Producer at talkRADIO.
Cassandra is now part of the Unedited: team as a co-owner, and also working as a Senior Producer.
