About
Unedited

There is nothing better than an authentic story expressed with passion. That's what we do through audio and visual storytelling. Whether that's through podcasts, radio & tv programmes, branding and training. So, how did we come together in the first place...

unedited: has a decade long story, and a history of friendships formed in the West Midlands.

unedited: began in 2010 when Ideas Genius (a blog for creatives) launched to share business tips and insight for unsigned artists, and aspiring media types. In 2011, the UK riots persuaded Bernard that there wasn’t enough representation of voices in British media, and the seed of Unedited was planted. However, Bernard worked for BBC Audio & Music and loved his day job. Ideas Genius began as a small digital video development company, in 2013, with Gemma Feare and JJ Jemiyo, but with little commercial success. Four years later, Bernard returned to his roots and invited Andrew Spence (formerly radio presenter 3Style), a DJ rival from Birmingham, and Cass Denton, a friend from ‘The Warner Bros Street Team’, to join an audio focussed company. Unedited became a trading name of Ideas Genius Limited, with Andrew and Bernard as joint directors. Now you’re caught up.
