Bernard P Achampong is a media professional with over 30 years of experience in the culture and media sector, including senior roles at the BBC and Premier Media Group. He has earned eight Radio Academy Awards, a Rose d’Or nomination for his contributions, and 35 industry awards and nominations.

As the founder of Unedited’s digital content brand, Bernard focuses on helping organisations and individuals meet diversity goals, grow their businesses, and develop talent. He provides practical guidance and mentorship, emphasising emotional intelligence and self-awareness as essential skills.

Bernard’s work fosters the next generation of leaders, particularly those from minority backgrounds. His work includes directing documentaries and spearheading initiatives such as Spotify’s Sound Up program for the UK and Ireland.

In addition to his creative work, Bernard advocates for diversity and representation in the industry. He serves on Creative UK and Audio UK boards, promoting inclusivity in audio production.

As an Associate Lecturer at Coventry University and the University of Derby, Bernard shared his entrepreneurship and radio production expertise. His commitment to innovation and inclusivity has made him a respected figure in the media industry.

Andrew has been a presenter and producer on local and national radio for 13 years under the pseudonym of 3Style. He started on Galaxy FM in 2000 presenting and producing his own play-listed mid-morning and afternoon shows, as well as producing and presenting two specialist RnB and Hip-Hop radio shows, which were broadcast nationally across the UK on the Galaxy Network. Andrew also presented shows on Capital FM Birmingham and Choice FM London, before hanging up the headphones in 2013. Andrew is a Sony Award Winning Producer and Presenter, for ‘The Hip-Hop Elementz’, a weekly nationally broadcast hip-hop show, for the Galaxy FM Network.

Andrew moved solely into production, working as a Studio Manager at Monocle 24, and also as a Producer for Breakthrough Media on the  UmmahSonic project. Andrew moved onto the Wireless Group’s, talkRADIO, producing shows for Penny Smith, Jamie East and Matthew Wright. Andrew’s love for sport took him to talkSPORT where he produced Kick Off, hosted by Hugh Woozencroft & Darren Lewis, and talkSPORT’s Weekend Breakfast Show hosted by Natalie Sawyer & Tony Cascarino.

Pat is an award-winning journalist and creative leader with over 30 years’ experience, working at major broadcasters at home and abroad. A Former Chief Creative Officer at the BBC and President/General Manager of US cable network Travel Channel Media, he is currently Chair of the Cardiff University governing body, Non-Executive Director at ITV Studios Ltd and an investor/non-executive director at podcast powerhouse, Unedited. He manages his consultancy services and creative projects at his company, Skin In The Game Studios Ltd.

Between 2015 – 2022 he co-founded and led award-winning independent production companies, Sugar Films and Cardiff Productions. He stepped down as Co-MD at Cardiff Productions in the spring of 2022, and left the company in January 2023.

Between 2010-2014 he led the BBC Television Production studio, who create and deliver some of the world’s biggest shows. Before that, he was President of the US cable network, Travel Channel Media, introducing shows like Emmy award-winning ‘Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations’ and global break-out hit, ‘Man v Food’.

At BBC Sport, Pat led the transformation of 6 Nations rugby, introducing prime-time kick-offs and the ‘Super Saturday’ climax.

A digital evangelist, his Hack The Moon project, was nominated for a Webby award. His digital consultancy helped companies understand the impact and transformational potential of digital, with clients including Google and AXA. He is a regular speaker at conferences and events, including TedX in Rome.

Emma started working in youth radio at 14 with work experience at Bristol’s Galaxy 101. She made herself indispensable which led to a career in broadcasting that spans 25 years.

She spent 5 years in the commercial sector. With a long-term passion for Black music, BBC Radio 1Xtra was the perfect place to combine her love of radio and music. As a part of the station from its launch she worked on the Sony Gold winning Ace and Vis show and she took the Breakfast Show to it’s highest ever figures and piloted a lot of the talent you hear on air today.

Since leaving the BBC Emma has led many projects, always focusing on diverse stories and talent including. For Punch Records, Homelands – Going Back to our Roots. A documentary series connecting artists with their musical heritage. Floor Sixx, a youth project for 40 young people to create their own event and learn about media from the inside out. Nexxt Step for the Mayor of London – a musical project uniting 10 young women and Our Black History Heroes – A 20-part documentary series for CBBC. 

Alongside being Unedited’s Head Of Production Emma currently produces the award-winning 1Xtra’s Throwback Party.

Chris is an award-winning Audio Producer and Musician from North West London who loves sound and storytelling. His work as an Audio Producer includes podcasts for BBC and Spotify’s Sound Up UK programme. From scriptwriting to sound design, Chris knows how to connect the dots and engage various audiences with inspiring and entertaining content. As a Musician, he knows his way around the recording booth, and his song has been used by global brands, including WWE, ESPN, McDonald’s, Hennessy, VICELAND and more.

A lover of album liner notes, Chris is also the co-host of the critically acclaimed Hip Hop podcast, Breaking Atoms. Every week, alongside Sumit Sharma, he travels through the Rap ecosystem, exploring a mix of deep dives and low-end theories with special guests. Breaking Atoms has been featured in Pitchfork and The Independent. In 2021 and 2022, Breaking Atoms was called an “essential Hip Hop podcast to listen to right now” by Uproxx and a “music podcast you need in your life” by Complex.

Chris’ natural charisma and encyclopaedic memory of useful and useless facts make him a well-loved podcast personality who never runs out of hilarious and insightful anecdotes.

Sefa Nkyi is an award-winning audio producer and renowned voice-over artist.
Starting her voiceover career in 2012, after winning a voiceover contract with London’s leading voiceover agency Hobsons.
Sefa is currently a recurring voice for channels such as MTV, ITV, Nickelodeon, Channel 4 and BBC, as well as voicing campaigns for brands such as Nando’s, Apple, Burger King and Estee Lauder – to name a few!
Coming from a radio background, Sefa previously worked at BBC 1Xtra as a Broadcast Assistant and then Producer before moving on to Reprezent radio where she began teaching radio broadcasting to young aspiring presenters, played a key role in building the station’s sound and brand, eventually becoming Reprezent’s Assistant Manager, alongside DJing and presenting on a community station, The Beat FM.
In addition to her voiceover career, Sefa is also an award-winning Freelance Audio Producer, having won an award for ‘Best Podcast Production’ at the 2019 Audio Production Awards.
Now the founder of 4C Voices, she offers advice, guidance and support to aspiring voice-over artists.
