September was an exciting month for Unedited. We launched a brand new website, ran a surgery at the biggest podcast festival of the year, and we launched our very own network on Acast.
So why a network? And why now?
The Unedited Stories Network has been a long time coming. As producers with many years of experience across the board, we’re no strangers to the power of audio. We’ve produced content for Audible, the BBC, and have run podcast workshops to help organisations connect better with their market. For us, a network was the next logical step.
Unedited was founded as a way to give a voice to those who are often misrepresented, and podcasts are most definitely the antidote to that. They allow people to speak their truth, their way.
Whilst audio plays a big part, we’ve also placed people at the heart of what we do. We wanted to create a network where podcasters could feel at home, and believe transparency and managing those relationships properly is just as important as the content that comes out of it. So here’s our family so far…
Purity Talks Podcast
The incredibly talented Cherlene Wilson was the first to join our network. Author, speaker, and all round motivator, her story of being 10 years celibate is an extremely powerful one. Keen to find the best way to tell that story, we worked with Cherlene to produce Purity Talks, a podcast detailing her journey, warts and all.
Because of the subject matter, Purity Talks was important to get right. We knew that if it sounded anything less than authentic, it would be hard for listeners to relate. Luckily, Cherlene is about as real as they come, and delivered everything that was needed to create a very moving, and engaging series.

Nothing to Declare Podcast
Kojo Anim is a man of more talents than we can count. When he’s not writing, producing or directing, he’s continuing what has been a long and successful career in stand-up comedy.
Having dabbled with podcasting previously, Kojo knew exactly what he wanted when it came to launching Nothing to Declare with co-hosts Amarie Cassidy and Teef.
Whilst many podcasts boast ‘real talk’, what Nothing to Declare delivers is all that and much more. Each host offers a unique perspective on everything from race to relationships, and the dynamic they have is refreshing.
