To produce social media assets for Instagram, Twitter and TikTok to promote the launch of the new BBC Sounds programme, 1Xtra's Throwback Party, and celebrate the return of the Notting Hill Carnival in 2022 following the pandemic.
WORK
For the launch of 1Xtra's Throwback Party, our audiovisual team produced 8 video clips for BBC Sounds and 1Xtra's Instagram and TikTok platforms, reflecting the fun and vibrant energy of the show’s hosts, Joelah and Keke. Most importantly, the assets highlighted the nostalgia of the 90s, 00s and 10's, with references to those periods’ artists, songs and brands of those periods. Using a green screen, we cleverly juxtaposed various backgrounds to transport the viewer to different places and times. Our team ensured that the clips were ‘evergreen’ so they could be used at any time, and new generations of throwback fanatics would be able to re-engage with a period that means the most to them.
For the 2022 Notting Hill Carnival, we delivered 4 video assets, using a green screen format to create bespoke visuals highlighting dance routines, music selections and fashion choices. This colourful campaign reflects what the Notting Hill Carnival is all about in its truest essence - fun, love and community.
